Our Guatemalan beans come from the Lachuá farm which lies in the ego-region surrounding lake Lachuá in the Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala. The cacao farmers at Lachuá have their own specific drying and fermentation process for their cacao beans. Because the biodiverse soil is shared with timber and plantain, the Lachuá beans have tasting notes of coffee and roasted nuts, which makes this the perfect bar for coffee lovers! The Lachuá farm is one of the smallest farms we source from – having just 81 registered farmers!
