Made By Ellis is the sister company of James Ellis, a greetings cards publisher. We started producing personalised stationery and gifts In 2011, and now specialise in personalised canvas height charts. We were one of the first businesses to sell canvas height charts on Not On The HIgh Street.

We are a team of creative individuals with backgrounds in illustration and graphic design. Our two companies are housed under the same roof – a lovely converted paint factory in Bristol. Every Made By Ellis order is carefully personalised, printed and hand finished here. We work with wonderful freelance illustrators to create unique and richly decorated designs.

Each part of our height charts has been carefully considered to create a high quality and sustainable product. Once personalised to order, our gorgeously detailed designs are printed on heavyweight canvas by our edge to edge printer, using lightfast and waterproof pigment based inks. Sandra and Lorraine assemble the charts by hand, attaching sustainably sourced wood to weight the top and bottom, and a ribbon so it is ready to hang. The chart is then presented in an organic cotton drawstring bag, before being packed in sturdy cardboard packaging, and delivered to your door!
