This limited edition art print features the bunny in the moon taking a rest on a roof, whilst flying the moon as a kite.
When I was a little girl growing up in South Africa, my dad always used to ask me if I could see the bunny in the moon. Which I could, obviously! You just have to look carefully.
What mesmerised me most though, was that he said that the bunny is upside down if you look at it from the Northern hemisphere. Now when I look at the moon, here from the Northern hemisphere, he was of course, right, Dads always are.
In this print, which is based on my original painting of acrylic on canvas, the bunny in the moon is taking a well-earned break, fllying the moon like a kite. (He has to hang on, otherwise how would he get back?)
