Key ingredients
Soap:
This excellent quality soap contains 100% organic oils certified by the Soil Association.
This soap is SLS, SLES and MPG free but creates a beautifully soft lather with good foaming and excellent moisturising properties. It is translucent/opaque but has a light honey/beige colour to it.
Shampoo:
Vegetable based shampoo, free from the surfactant Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Made with soothing aloe vera to give an excellent lather with good moisturising from a very high glycerine content to provide a pleasant skin feel.
Dead Sea Salts
Dead Sea salt is only 30.5% of this, the rest composed of other dried minerals and salts. Dead Sea Salt contains 21 minerals including magnesium, calcium, sulphur, bromide, iodine, sodium, zinc and potassium. The minerals are absorbed while soaking, stimulating blood circulation improving skin hydration and reducing inflammation.
Dead Sea salts have been claimed to treat the following conditions: Rheumatologic Conditions, Common skin ailments, Allergies and Skin ageing Epsom salts Epsom salt is rich in both magnesium and sulphate, both poorly absorbed through the stomach yet easily absorbed through the skin.
Epsom Salts
Magnesium is the second most abundant element in human cells. It helps the body regulate over 325 enzymes and plays an important role in organizing many bodily functions, like muscle control, electrical impulses, energy production and the elimination of harmful toxins.
Sulphates play an important role in the formation of brain tissue, joint proteins and the proteins that line the walls of the digestive tract. They stimulate the pancreas to generate digestive enzymes and are thought to help detoxify the body of medicines and environmental contaminants
Essential Oils
Essential oils are highly concentrated plant constituents possessing potent medicinal and cosmetic qualities. Most essential oils are high in antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. They are tinyin molecular size, so easily absorbed by the skin.
