This one-of-a-kind book was made by hand using marbling techniques steeped in centuries of tradition, which involve ‘floating’ paints in a bath of thickened water and carefully manipulating them to make elegant, fluid patterns.
Covered in a marbled paper with an elegant swirling pattern, this journal is available in a rose pink, purple and gold colourway.
We marble and make all our books by hand in our London studio to ensure supreme quality. Because each book is made with an original marbled paper, you will receive one slightly different from the pictures shown, but it will be just as beautiful!
Choose from lined pages, for writing and notes, or plain pages for sketching and scrapbooking.

Made from
Our base paper is a laid Hannemuhle printmaking paper in a rose pink colour.
We use acrylic paint for its strength and vividness – it won’t rub away or dissolve but, as we don't use mass-manufacturing coating treatments, we recommend keeping them away from water where possible to avoid warping.
Each book contains 240 pages (120 leaves), made from lovely ivory-toned Italian paper, with a choice of subtle narrow lines or blank laid paper. We like the detail that the lines don't go right to edges of the paper and are contained within each page.
All our books are constructed by hand using thick greyboard for sturdy, quality covers. Our Maker Mark is proudly stamped on the back cover.
