Hot Sauce Gin

To make it, the folks at FEW finished some of their bourbon in barrels that previously held bourbon and then hot sauce. They redistilled the bourbon with juniper, Guajillo peppers and Ancho chillies to create the gin you see before your eyes. It's pretty wild. We love it.

A limited edition release of 1,228 bottles.

Tasting Notes;

Nose: Tabasco heat and sweet tomato initially, with touches of vanilla and citrus juice.

Palate: Very interesting, like a Red Snapper (A Bloody Mary with gin instead of vodka). Some candied lime sweetness is there, as is fragrant red chilli heat and savoury juniper.

Finish: The warmth remains and is comfortable, nothing blows you away, and the smatterings of citrus and vanilla bring a lovely, needed sweetness.
