The whole concept of Mattie, Milo & Barney Too was born from a personal need, and that need was finding baby products that weren’t just made with babies in mind, but also for the modern day stylish mum.

I knew from the outset that our designs were always going to be with mum-in-mind, and not baby. Controversial I know! But we guessed that baby is your focus already, but who was focussing on you?

When I had my first baby 11 years ago, it was nothing like today. For anyone that knows me, I didn’t want to go from carrying a Mulberry bag, to all of a sudden carrying a changing bag!? So no way was I going to be pushing my baby around in a pram, swaddled up in some blanket covered is some hideous Disney print! I wanted a design that I loved - one that people would comment on. The way they do when you wear a beautiful pair of shoes. Or when you take your favourite handbag on an outing. THAT’S what I wanted for all of our designs. And thankfully, that’s what we get.
