About Us

A fun and thoughtful present idea for creative kids. Gift a one-of-a-kind present full of everything a child needs to make a bespoke item they'll love.

Me-shirt kits is a Mother and Daughter team, Chloe and Amelie, who fell in love with T-shirt decorating during lockdown.

Arts and crafts obsessed Amelie came up with the idea of a pick-your-own 'Dream T-shirt painting kit' - a kit hand picked for a customer according to their choices, so it's full of a child's favourite colours and characters alongside their all-important initial or age.

'We started selling to friends but within a month we were shipping across the country and overseas, with more orders than I could manage around my newborn son. It blew my mind when we realised that we may be able to make a living out of something we had got so much joy out of...

Our highlight so far has been selling in our very own pop up together in John Lewis in Amelie's school holidays. To stand there with your 7 year old daughter receiving amazing feedback from customers who are as excited about your idea as you are, let alone making a load of sales, was just the biggest buzz!'

We've been lucky enough to have been invited to host a pop up store selling our kits in John Lewis twice last year as well as running a pencil, case decorating workshop. We have also been featured in various national press alongside a selection of parenting publications. Chloe wrote an article for FQ Dads about wellbeing and creativity, a subject which we are very passionate about as creating makes us feel good!

We have just relocated from London to Worthing, West Sussex and will be taking on an artists's studio on the beachfront which we are very excited about!

The Evening Standard

Delivery

We send kits out 2nd class Royal Mail as standard or can provide a Special Delivery service via Royal Mail which should arrive by 1pm the day after posting. Most kits are dispatched within 24 hours - please let us know if your order is a priority and we will put it at the top of the pile, same day dispatch is sometimes possible.

We are more than happy to help with tracking your order but cannot guarantee anything once it is in the postal system.

Our single kits are posted out sealed with Me-shirt polka dot tape in a branded Me-shirt box which fits through most letterboxes. Multiple kit orders will also be in our branded Me-shirt boxes and these will be packaged together in brown paper and sealed with Me-shirt polka dot tape.

We designed the packaging so our kits do not need to be wrapped in wrapping paper as well, so they can be sent direct to the recipient without any pricing details included, saving you time, extra money and the environment.
