I am a British artist and I specialise in fine art paintings of animals.

My journey began at my kitchen table 9 years ago when my daughter started primary school. We live in a beautiful, sleepy village in the middle of the Hampshire countryside. Being surrounded by wildlife helped to inspire me to bring these animals, as well as domestic and other more exotic animals, to life in my paintings. I come from a long line of successful artists and have always been creative in my life and work. Painting what I love came naturally to me.

The main focus of my work is fine art, a realistic rendering of beautiful and interesting animals. I try and capture not only their likeness but also their personality. I chose to concentrate on the animal and not the background as I want the animal to be the focus of the painting. This also adds a contemporary feel to a fine art painting.
