We redesign and upcycle your fabric into your very own truly unique, bespoke face masks, lined in our soft sustainably sourced silk.

Got something in your wardrobe which you love but doesn't fit? A sentimental hand-me-down which we could upcycle into your own face masks? Need a dapper pinstriped mask for your daily commute? Or looking for a totally unique, bespoke and sustainable, eco-friendly gift idea?

my MASKS are eco-friendly, ethically and tailor-made reusable and machine washable face masks, handmade to order by our team of seamstresses in the Cotswolds, UK using the same techniques as dressmaking.

We will redesign your pre-loved fabric (100% linen/cotton/silk only) into the front layer of your masks and line with our beautuflly soft and breathable sustainably sourced silk.

Variations

SUPPLY YOUR OWN FABRIC - you can supply your own 100% cotton linen or silk for totally bespoke masks (or choose from our curated collection of vintage and pre-loved fabrics). This could be a cotton dress, a linen shirt, a cotton pillowcase or silk blouse for example.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: must be 100% cotton (not jersey, stretchy, denim), 100% linen or 100% silk, clean and with no pulls or stains in the desired area of fabric.

SIZE REQUIREMENTS: 18 cm x 30 cm (min size of fabric for one medium/women's size mask) 25 cm x 35 cm (min size of fabric for one large/men's size mask) 16 cm x 30cm (min size of fabric for one small/child's size mask).

HOW IT WORKS - once your order has been accepted we will send you a prepaid mailing bag so you can send your fabric to us. We will handcraft your masks, using your fabric for the front layer and line with silk (both layers are also interfaced).

Front layer - handcrafted from your own upcycled 100% cotton, linen or silk.

Inner layer - handmade from our sustainably sourced silk (silver/mint green).

Plus two layers of non-woven interfacing.

WHY THESE FABRICS?

Woven cotton/linen is a natural and breathable fabric which acts as a mechanical barrier against particles.

The silk lining is not only beautifully soft, comfortable and breathable on your skin, but acts as a static barrier against particles.

The two layers of non-woven interfacing act as an additional filter and protection as well as giving my MASKS their unique and comfortable sculpted design and fit.

SUSTAINABILITY - we believe strongly in using fabrics already in existence, which is kinder to our planet and helping towards a more sustainable future.

Our soft elastic ear loops are left loose so you can remove and amend/replace if necessary, for maximum fit, comfort and longevity.

Personalised my MASKS are all handmade to order in the Cotswolds, UK by our team of experienced seamstresses.

CARE

my MASKS can be machine washed up to 60 degrees, but hand washing is advisable to extend the life of your masks and kinder to the planet. Wash dark colours separately.

Personalised face masks - if you are supplying your own fabric, we will send you a pre-paid maling bag for you to send your fabric back to us in.

As your masks are handmade-to-order, they do take a little time. We aim to dispatch your completed masks as quickly as possible, usually within 7 working days from your fabric arriving with us. If there is any delay and masks will not be ready within our usual timeframe, we will contact you to inform you of any delay and do all we can to get your masks to you as quickly as possible.

Completed masks will be sent out to you First Class Royal Mail and we will retain any leftover fabric.

All masks arrive in recyclable packaging and a small recyclable card is also included with your order to explain about the masks which is particularly helpful should they be a gift.

Returns

You have 28 days, from receipt of cancellable goods, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements, perishable products and personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken are non-refundable, unless faulty.
