Health and Safety
Glass is sharp and can cause cuts. To minimise the risk please only handle the glass by pincer grip at the edges (see my how to tutorial online link sent via email). I will go through setting up your space in a step by step way in the video tutorial. Try not to over handle the glass sheet - the oils from your hands can leave a trace on the glass.
Have yourself a space ready, free from distractions, children and pets. Kitchen table works best for me!
In your box
In your box you have an information sheet, A5 paper, a non-slip mat, the glass you selected - wrapped, all the specific glass for the box you have chosen. The glue is PVA, so non toxic. You have tools to help you in the making. Please re pack any left over glass back into the container it came in, replace tools into the envelope and return everything back in the box once you have finished. You will have a return self address envelope with postage attached to return your kit back to me.
Watching the tutorial Video
In your kit will be a online link and password to a private video tutorial - please do not share this with others. If you do happen to have any questions you may be able to find answers at the bottom of the video link, if you don’t find an answer you can email me to ask any questions you may have relating to the boxes. I will do my best to get back to you asap.
DON'T FORGET TO TAKE A PHOTO Of YOUR FINISHED WORK, WITH YOUR NAME IN SHOT AND SEND IT TO ME VIA FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM OR EMAIL - info in the box.
Collection/delivery
Postage: I will send your box to you with everything you need to create your own fused glass project. Please make sure the box shuts flat, no bumps or lumps - any extra width on the box may result in the box not being delivered and/or extra charges for me as I will have to pay the difference and collect from my nearest depot.
MAKE SURE ALL THE GLUE IS DRY BEFORE REPACKING THE GLASS.
Enjoy it - Last but not least, I hope you enjoy this experience.
Packaging is all recycled and recyclable. I aim to recycle as much packaging as possible to reduce our carbon footprint. You may receive a variation of packaging than that in the video, that is okay - I have used what was available.
When your finished piece is returned to you it will be wrapped in tissue paper or bubble wrap to protect it and boxed in a large letter postal box usually a 10cm square box that is 2cm deep. This will easily post through every letter box.
Check out our other kits, we have Robin, Rainbows, Hearts and more.
