Retro travel poster-style inspired design of Castlefield Basin, Manchester, UK
When I started to research the history of Castlefield Basin I didn’t expect to find out that it had originally been the site of a Roman fort, called Mamucium, built by Roman soldiers in 79AD on the River Medlock
It is now a conservation area due to its unique crossings of railway lines and canals, and its preserved industrial architectural heritage
This colourful print would brighten up any room and would make a lovely gift for friends or family. Produced from a hand-drawn illustration, this design is digitally drawn and coloured on computer. Digitally printed on fsc certified 200gsm semi-gloss paper
Four different sizes are available. These print sizes will fit into standard off-the-shelf frames (with or without internal mount board) and the actual print sizes are:
30cm x 40cm (11 ½ x 15 ¼ in)
A2 size - 42cm x 59.4cm (16.5 x 23.4 in)
50cm x 70cm (19.7 x 27.5 in)
A1 size - 59.4cm x 84.1cm (23.4 x 33.1 in)
you can choose the size from the drop-down menu when ordering
In addition to this, all my designs can be printed at any custom size and I am happy to accommodate requests for this - please email if you have a different size requirement
