Variations
After hand-shaping, finishing and waxing, we personalise your wooden memory box according to the design shown. The entire design is carved into the lid of the box. The carving is then highlighted by painting in by hand.
You can choose the recipient name (the default is "Mummy's" as shown) and footer text, which is usually the names of the children or the giver's regards.
Please check your personalisation details are entered correctly when finalising your order, as we cannot accept amendments once your order has been placed.

Two brass hinges and metal clasp on each box
Each box is skilfully aged and finished by hand and personalised in our workshops in Hertfordshire, England. It is designed to look like a used and old keepsake box so will be uneven and shaped to fit that brief
The inside of the box matches the outside, however we do not sand the inside so it may have rough patches. Due to this it can pick up more of the wax in areas giving a patchy look.
Your choice of personalisation will be carved into the lid as shown in the photography and then hand painted in white to highlight the design.
Exact colour and patina/ grain on your box will vary depending on the batch of wood and differences in the hand finishing.
