We will carve the name of the person, first name and surname into the lid of the box, along with their dates. You can then choose to have a short message underneath if you wish. It could simply be "Memory Box" or "In Loving Memory" or "Special Memories" or whatever you would like.
Once it has been carved we will blacken the lettering. This really makes it stand out and contrasts with the waxed wood.
We can also hand line the box for you with felt. We line the base in a choice of nine felt colours. We have shown the lining in black which seems appropriate for this memory box, but it can and should be lined with any colour that represents the person being remembered.
