This beautiful hand-made kangaroo and removable baby joey is a perfect gift for a baby or a child or as a Mother & child set. Karo the Kangaroo is one of the six Night Guardian characters whose job is to companion children while they are playing.
Each beautiful character is lovingly hand-crocheted in Vietnam using fair-trade, top-quality materials, supporting and empowering disadvantaged women and people with disabilities into work through training and outreach programmes and ultimately towards financial independence and a better life.
Classic Caramel Karo comes with detachable baby Garu in her pouch, pink crochet heart, removable pink jumer and beautifully personalised linen Ribbon, Baby Joey has an optional extra printed ribbon and they both come in gift box with a colouring story book.

The super cute Day Guardians' job is to have fun with children while they play and include; Karo – the speedy Guardian, Barbra – The protector, Bobby – with super strength, Foxxie the guardisn of speed, Fennis the guardian of health & Lizzie - A Wise Guardian.
Each soft toy is personalised with a natural woven linen ribbon and printed with an individual name or message, then hand tied in a bow around it's neck. Hand crocheted in natural cotton yarn which can be hand washed or washed at 30oC. The natural Linen Ribbon should be removed before washing.
Each presentation Gift box has been made from recycled materials.
