Discover the untold secrets of the art of blacksmithing at Oldfield Forge. Work together as a team to design and make your very own dagger or small sword. This gift experiences allows (almost) everyone to participate – from the intrigued novice, right through to those with some existing proficiency and enables them to test their metal-working skills. Children from the age of 7 years can fulfil their dream of making their very own medieval or family crest dagger.
Our Dagger Making would also be a fantastic day out for those who are passionate about 'Forged in Fire', 'Game of Thrones' or 'Lord of the Rings' !! Those searching for the perfect gift for family, friends, couples for either Christmas, birthday or a special occasion, look no further.
This is a fantastic 7 hours of fun, taught in a relaxed and friendly environment, where you will be made to sweat but will leave at the end of the day with your very own dagger to cherish forever - along with a special story to be told.
Fancy an alfresco lunch? During your time with us, you can enjoy lunch either in the country air in our picnic area or, if you prefer, take advantage of our Forge Den or Woodlands Huts. We do welcome family and friends to join you for lunch and to share in your experience as a blacksmith. There is choice of hot drink or cold drinks on site, as well as a choice of a cake or a snack from the tuck shop.We are very lucky to have a partnered up with our local farm shop who supplies us with delicious home cooked Pies, Pastries, and so much more.Our fridge is stocked well with a hearty selection and ready for you to warm up and enjoy. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to bring your own picnic lunch from home.

The package includes one dagger to be made by one person.
VOUCHER: All voucher purchases come complete with a digital e-voucher, which is sent to you via the NOTHS platform and can be printed at home or forwarded on.
However, for £5 extra, you can choose a premium postal voucher – perfect to put inside a card. If you’d like the premium printed option, simply select that as an add-on when buying your voucher.

Weekends do have to be booked well in advanced, please book as soon as possible to secure a your booking.
