Our Forge your own Hammer experience is the perfect 'Him or Her Gift' and also for small group parties who want to come and learn a traditional craft.
The day is very “hands-on”, enabling you to craft your very own hammer head for you to use and admire. You will get to forge and harden your hammer head and time permitting, we will help you to fit your own handle if time allows.
We have a range of hammer heads available to make including: Cross Pein, Straight Pein, Rounding, Mini Sledge, Ball-pein, Claw. If you have specific design in mind, please do get in touch and we can let you know whether it is achievable within the time frame you are with us.
This is a fantastic 7 hours of fun, taught in a relaxed and friendly environment, where you will be made to sweat but will leave at the end of the day with a hammer head you can cherish forever - along with a special story to be told. Please be aware that weekends do get booked very quickly, so please book well in advance for outside of week days!

VOUCHER: All voucher purchases come complete with a digital e-voucher, which is sent to you via the NOTHS platform and can be printed at home or forwarded on.
However, for £5 extra, you can choose a premium postal voucher – perfect to put inside a card. If you’d like the premium printed option, simply select that as an add-on when buying your voucher.
