Are you already suffering from Summer blues? Do you long for a smoky barbeque on a warm, summer evening? Oldfield Forge present the perfect gift for our summer loving guests with our unique "sausage sizzler" workshop for two.
Fully supported by our experienced team, you will be able to enjoy your time learning about the art of blacksmithing as well as producing your own sizzler.

For those who are not quite sure blacksmithing is for them, however would like to share on the experience as much as possible. We do have our woodlands area and showroom with a viewing area.
During your time with us, you can enjoy lunch either in the country air in our picnic area or, if you prefer, take advantage of our Forge Den or Woodlands Huts. We do welcome family and friends to join you for lunch and to share in your experience as a blacksmith. There is choice of hot drink or cold drinks on site, as well as a choice of a cake or a snack from the tuck shop.We are very lucky to have a partnered up with our local farm shop who supplies us with delicious home cooked Pies, Pastries, and so much more.Our fridge is stocked well with a hearty selection and ready for you to warm up and enjoy. There is a further charge for this. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to bring your own picnic lunch from home.

LOCATION: Garway Hill, Herefordshire
DURATION: 3 hours with time after for a BBQ if you wish. (BBQ facilities and coals provided). Please ask when booking.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. All BBQ food is to be cooked by participants at their own risk. Parking is available at our premises. We welcome groups of all sizes and abilities. Children from the age of 7years old are welcome to the forge.
