This strong and reliable cube can be used as a side table or as a seat and makes a superb bedside table. Great beacon for open spaces and a fantastic ambient light to gently brighten the corners of any hallway, living room or dining room. Really suits large and small spaces alike and will last for years and years!

45cm x 45cm x 45cm with a standard ES fitting to take E27 bulbs. Easy access hole underneath without any unscrewing, white cable with inline switch and plug for UK or EU (delivery address determines which plug is sent). Tested for use with 40W incandescent lamps, but we recommend LED lamps at 10 -14W. Lower wattage has better energy usage, gives off less heat and therefore longer life for the product, and LED bulbs give a great light.

Choose a 'warm' (2700k or less) white bulb for a warm glow to be diffused by the lamp, or a 'cool' (3000k or more) white if you like a colder bluer light. This product is neutral in colour and will take on colour from the bulb you use. Bulbs like the Philips Hue bulb work beautifully to give control over a range of colours.

One Foot Taller is keen on small scale production with care: We do not accept more than 20 orders per week. Delivery within 2-4 weeks for standard products and a little longer for special designs. We make all products to order. This one is made in the factory in Scotland: the form is produced by melting and turning polyethylene within a shell-like two-part mould in a big rotomoulding machine - a bit like a massive oven. The form is then cooled and its edges hand finished before parts are all connected and it's sent off to you with minimum packing and a simple instruction sheet, drawn by Katty.
