I’m Chris, the founder of Pangolin Gin, Pangolin Gin began during a recent trip I made to South Africa, where I learned for the first time about the illegal trade of pangolins.

Maybe you’ve heard of these amazing creatures, or maybe you haven’t. Despite pangolins being the most illegally trafficked mammal in the world, many people don’t know about them. It’s time to change that.

Right now, all eight of the pangolin species are endangered due to the ongoing illegal international trade for their scales, skin and meat, used in traditional Chinese medicine and as fashion accessories.

Pangolin Gin was created to help save the pangolin from extinction. With each bottle purchased, a percentage goes towards international pangolin conservation charities working across Africa and Asia. Currently, we’re proudly supporting the Born Free Foundation.

Though our mission is in conservation, we are passionate about creating an extraordinary tasting drink too. Our gin is blended with rare African botanicals to produce a uniquely balanced spirit that captures the essence of the South African sundowner – perfect for sipping at the end of a long day.
