Fair Trade Handmade Sari Letter Writing Set

These products have been handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India.

The paper is made from cotton left over from the massive Indian garment industry. Only unbleached cotton is used so no chemicals are present.

The stunning sari used to cover the box is sourced from Varanasi, one of the most religious cities in the world and a centre of excellence for sari making.

The paper is hand made using cotton rags, it doesn’t contain any chemicals as only unbleached cotton is used. It is made by charity in rural Rajasthan that promotes women’s education and their social standing in the rural villages.

The paper is an off white colour, very textured and might have a splash of petals. Please note, we don't recommend using fountain pen with this type of handmade paper.

The pages and envelopes are created from khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi). This sustainable material is crafted by hand from recycled cotton, salvaged from the huge waste of the Indian garment industry.
