Hand crafted from a recycled fire hose, this messenger bag has a classic, functional shape, with a quirky twist! We love the eye-catching red and white pattern, and the unique material assures that this bag is both weatherproof and durable.
This handy unisex courier bag has plenty of space inside. Open the flap, secured by two magnetic popper fastenings, to reveal the roomy main compartment. Lined with a soft, hand stitched fabric, there’s plenty of room for a laptop, A4 folders and more. There’s also a small zipped pocket to keep your valuables safe. The shoulder strap is sturdy and adjustable for comfortable carrying over your shoulder or across your body.
The classic messenger bag design really pops with the striking red & white colour combination and black edging. A sturdy shoulder strap means you’ll always be able to hang on to your bag even on a crowded train.
The care and attention to detail continues inside with a handstitched lining made from a gorgeous soft dark fabric that complements the striking exterior and there’s also an internal zipped pocket for your valuables. The top flap of the bag is secured with two magnetic popper fastenings.

Made from real fire hoses!
Due to the nature of the function they perform, fire hoses have a limited working lifespan. They are eventually ‘retired’ from the field and would usually end up as landfill waste. This is where Conserve India, our Fair Trade partner, saw an opportunity to step in and make a difference by turning a waste product into a sophisticated and desirable item.
Conserve India was born out of a desire to reduce India’s mountain of waste and there is a strong emphasis on recycling and repurposing of materials all while improving the lives of some of the poorest people in India.
They employ and train hundreds of people from Delhi’s most disadvantaged communities to create beautiful products from the waste and the profits are put back into the same communities to improve education and welfare.
