This lovely paper bunting has been up-cycled from a rescued copy of the beautiful book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. In 1906, Edith Holden recorded in words and paintings the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the seasons. This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous pictures and words.
The bunting is designed to be viewed from one side only and is not really suitable for use outdoors – well, it IS paper after all!
The bunting has been threaded together with plenty of yarn so that you can spread the flags out if you want to – they slide easily on the yarn – and there will still be plenty yarn to hang up the bunting.
The garland you receive may not have exactly the same flags as in the photos but will have a beautiful selection of Edith Holden's gorgeous pictures.
