This lovely paper bunting has been up-cycled from a rescued copy of the beautiful book, The Nature Notes of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. Edith Holden recorded in words and paintings the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the seasons. This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous pictures.
There are 8 triangular flags, each measuring approx. 21 cm long x 17 cm across. The bunting is designed to be viewed from one side only and is not really suitable for use outdoors – well, it IS paper after all!
The bunting has been threaded together with rescued wool. If the flags were placed end to end on the wool, the bunting would be 136 cm (approx 4 ft 6 in) long. The wool is longer than this so that you can spread the flags out on the wool if you want to – they slide easily on the wool – and there will still be plenty of wool to hang up the bunting.
This listing is for ONE garland of bunting - the garland you receive may not have exactly the same flags as in the photos but will have a beautiful selection of Edith Holden's gorgeous pictures.
