This small chandelier is created from handmade paper roses and peas, giving it a rustic, homemade look perfect for any room in your home.

This design exists only in the north east of Poland (Kurpie), which is famous for the most colourful folk art. They call it kierec and it is supposed to bring luck and happiness to your home. Created for Easter or Christmas, country women used it to brighten up their homes.

The Kierec is made from 16 hand made paper roses and 12 strings of peas that were thread manually. This design is a work of labour and love and cherishes old skills that can be shared with you.
