The butterflies, pins and scroll backs are all made from 9 carat yellow gold. To clean you can rub with a silver cloth or dip briefly in silver dip and then wash with warm soapy water. To keep these looking at their best, keep them stored in a box away from heat and light and keep away from chemicals such as perfume and chlorine. Beauty products and cleaning products can dull the shine on gold, so put them on last when you are going out and take them out when you are bathing showering or going swimming.
