The images Sarah loves to draw are inspired by childhood, happy memories, the simplicity and innocence of times past, her own children's very vivid imaginations and a love of books.

All of Sarah's work is hand drawn on 300gsm hot press (smooth) watercolour paper using pencils, fine liners. Sarah prefers the clean lines of black and white and only adds a hint of colour using watercolour paint. Occasionally Sarah likes to cut out parts of the illustration as this adds an extra dimension to some of her work.

PlumGinger Art original illustrations are produced as prints here in the UK using only the highest quality materials.
