Our Personalised Kintsugi Signet Ring is an on trend, contemporary twist on a traditional signet ring design.
The ring features a flat mat sterling silver rectangle bezel with a engraved Kintsugi inspired crack down the middle that is filled with gold fill.
Kintsugi translated means 'to patch with gold'. It is a Japanese art form in which breaks, and repairs are treated as part of the object's wonderful history. Instead of hiding away the repairs, Kintsugi celebrates them, fills them with gold and turns them into the focal point. Kintsugi isn't about perfection, it is about seeing the beauty in imperfection.
The bezel can be personalised with initials, special word, date etc. Personalise with up to 3 characters. The lettering is then filled with gold fill. We can add dots in between inititals. Please send us a message after ordering if you would like this added.
Each ring is handmade by our skilled jewellers in our Brighton workshop.
Each ring is handmade in Sterling Silver with the choice of different metal types. We can oxidise the sterling silver which gives a darker appearance and also oxidise with a hammered side. We can also plate the ring in 18ct yellow or 18ct rose gold plate. Please chose your metal type from the drop down menu.
Please specify your ring size (this is the standard UK letter ring size).
