We ask that you send us a photo promptly after purchasing to ensure we can get your gift to you as soon as possible. Add a note to seller and attach your picture, our Brighton based team are always happy to help if you need some assistance.
Top tips for a good photo:
1. Ensure the photo is a good size and quality.
2. Remember that the photo will be put into a square frame. Keep the focus central as we may need to crop and we don't want to miss out any important landmarks or scenery.
3. We are unable to edit or retouch any photos. What you send over is what will go into the frame.
Map Information:
To create our pictures we use vintage maps, please be aware that we are unable to have landmarks or roads etc marked, this is why we ask you to give the town or the city instead. We have a better chance of finding that for you.
If we're unable to find your location we will do our best to get as close as possible and show it contextually with other marked locations shown and try to keep it as central as possible. If you'd like us to let you know if we can't find your location, please pop us a message alongside your order.
Our maps of the UK are relatively extensive, we are always growing our collection but some locations abroad we may not have. Also as we're using vintage maps, some names of towns / cities may have changed. We use maps that predate the 1960's so please take this into consideration.
The four photograph windows are 8cm x 8cm (approx) each.
If you'd like us to print and insert your photos here's a few top tips to ensure your photos look good:
1. Think about the shape of the window, we may have to crop your photo slightly so keep the main focus central.
2. Please send over a good quaility high resolution photo.
3. We are unable to edit or retouch any photos. What you send over is what will go into the frame.
4. If you can attach the photos to your order after purchasing, this will ensure we're able to get your frame made up as quickly as possible and prevent delay.
