A traditional round hand painted Indian tiffin lunch box with a striking floral design.
Traditional tiffin lunch boxes are highly practical food carriers used for centuries in Asia and Eastern Europe. This pretty hand painted tiffin demonstrates that praticality does not have to sacrifice beauty! Three compartments mean you can easily seperate three lunch courses- a pasta dish, green salad and some berries and dark chocolate for dessert. Made of durable stainless steel this lunch box is built to last and is equally at home for school lunches, a picnic or filled with a range of snacks when travelling.
Each item is hand painted and should be hand washed only to avoid damage to the paint. Hand wash without the use of scourers and dry with a tea towel. It has been produced in small batches and some minor variation in design, colour, brush marks, minor paint spots, varnish bubbles, may be apparent from item to item. This is natural and due to the natural hand painted process that we believe adds to the beauty and unique nature of our items which are not mass produced, factory sprayed or water bathed. They are 100% hand painted.
