The Label
What started solely as a couture house 18 years ago, developed into multiple international fashion labels. Maintaining a bespoke and bridal service, Raishma developed a ready-to-wear line for the premium high street market. Using her extensive expertise as a couturier, Raishma managed to develop a commercial line with affordable dresses without comprising on the quality and design aesthetic.
Raishma launched online at John Lewis and House of Fraser in 2016, and currently retails with stockists across the Middle East, Australia, India and the USA.
Located in Marylebone, London; Raishma’s flagship boutique houses her ready to wear collections and couture gowns. The designer’s boutique has a luxurious, award-winning interior, offering the perfect environment for her clientele to embark on a unique experience.

The Designer
Raishma Islam graduated from De Montfort University with a Fashion and Textile Degree in 1995, leading her to acquire an Assistant Designer role with Elizabeth Emmanuel. After understanding the trade in depth and learning first hand from a distinguished couture designer, Raishma was ready to create her self-titled brand in 1998.
Raishma’s collections are inspired by the endless evolution of style. In her designs, she explores the fine line between classic and modern, creating signature pieces with an international aesthetic. Her mastery in authentic hand embroidery and meticulous eye for detail means every design is made with exceptional craftsmanship. Encouraging time-honored artisanal skills and employing them in each of her creations, Raishma is driven to empower women artisans.
Every ‘Raishma dress’ bears the everlasting and unmatched impression of handmade and embodies diverse personalities.
