Sustainable and beautiful, our reusable organic Crossweave collection will give you a lifetime of eco-friendly gift wrapping.
The Crossweave wraps are carefully handmade from squares of organic cotton. The artisan woven fabric makes for a versatile wrap with jewel-like colours that work for any gifting occasion - including Christmas.
Fabric gift wrapping is quick and easy once you know how, and it provides the perfect eco-friendly answer to throwaway paper and non-biodegradable tape. You can either ask for the wrap to be returned or pass it on as part of the gift.
Each wrap comes with an instruction card and a pack of three sustainably produced, handmade gift tags.

Variations
Our organic Crossweave collection comes in a range of choices -
SUNSET PEACH - medium weight organic cotton wraps woven from orange and off white yarns. The colour combination creates a creamy peach effect that is both fresh and luscious.
MORNING DAWN - medium weight organic cotton wraps woven from dark orange and blue yarns. This creates a beautiful iridescent purple sheen with flecks of orange that work well for Christmas or Diwali gifts.
EVENING STAR - medium to heavy weight organic cotton wraps, woven from dark blue and white yarns to create an effect reminiscent of denim. Works well for the ‘dressed down’ or ‘smart casual’ gift.
PURPLE STRATA - light to medium weight organic cotton wraps, woven from yarn in shades of blue and purple to create a beautiful striped effect.
WOVEN MIST - medium weight organic cotton wraps, woven from grey and purple yarn to create an effect that is both subtle and complex.

Made from
The fabric for the organic Crossweave collection has been carefully sourced with both the environment and worker welfare in mind.
The fabric is supplied by the Organic Textile Company, who have a personal relationship with their supplier in Kerala. Together they ensure that the fabric is fairly traded as well as organic.
The weavers in Kerala hand dye the cotton yarn using low impact dyes, before weaving it on small powerlooms. Crossweave fabric uses different coloured yarns for the warp and the weft, to create an effect that is subtle, complex and high quality. As with any handwoven fabric, there may be small imperfections, but this very much adds to its charm.
We hem the fabric squares with responsibly sourced organic cotton thread, ensuring that the wraps are 100% organic.
The instruction card accompanying each wrap is printed on 100% recycled and recyclable Kraft card.
The pack of three gift tags is handmade using card and fabric offcuts from our instruction card and wrap production.
All our packaging is plastic free. We send out parcels in 100% recycled card sleeves or boxes and only use eco-friendly paper tape. If a parcel needs padding, we use fabric offcuts or paper from parcels we ourselves have received.
Please note: we pre-wash all crossweave fabrics using eco-friendly cycles and detergent. Fabric gift wraps shouldn’t need laundering, but if you do wash them you may notice some slight further shrinkage. We recommend a cool wash setting and gentle eco-friendly detergent. Although creases don’t show once the fabric is wrapped around a gift, the wraps can always be ironed.
