Dyed using vegetable based colour shades. Kantha' is a sturdy running stitch that brings out the best of the block print on the fabric below. Hand stitched by expert artisans, who have been passed this art through generations. This particular traditional lightweight blanket has two layers of soft glazed cotton and is not filled or 'quilted'. It is reversible with beautiful block printed patterns on one side and the other side without an print but with clearly visible running kantha stitches.
