Experience the excitement of open cockpit flying with this 30 minute air experience flight in a flexwing microlight.
Soar over the Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire landscapes, feel the wind in your face and take the controls of the aircraft at heights of up to 5000 feet or more at speeds of over 70mph. Flying doesn't get more thrilling than this - you will never forget the experience of total immersion within the elements.
Upon arrival, your pilot will give you a safety brief before providing you with your flying suit, helmet and intercom headset. He will then strap you in ready for take off! The flight will last around thirty minutes, so allow a whole hour for the experience but feel free to arrive early or stay after to enjoy watching the other activities and maybe chat to the pilots!
You will fly in the rear seat of a P&M GT450 Microlight being flown by CAA and BMAA approved flying instructor Neil Robinson.
LOCATION
The flight will be from Deenethrope Aerodrome in Northamptonshire. Wheelchair access is limited so please discuss any requirements in advance.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
We fly throughout the year Tuesdays to Sundays, weather allowing.
Please allow 60 minutes for the 30 minute flight. this allows time for a full safety briefing and an opportunty to take photographs prior to the flight.
Each flight is or one person.
Just wear confortable clothing and lace up shoes or boots. Flying suits, helmets and headsets will be provided. This is an active airfield so children must be accompanied at all times.
