The wellbeing benefits of scented candles have been felt since the dawn of their existence 5000 years ago. With their stress reducing and mood boosting qualities it’s easy to understand why. From helping to improve sleep to easing anxiety, their benefits are extensive. Aside from their immense wellbeing benefits, scented candles also have the power to stimulate positive emotions more deeply than any other sense. While all senses link to memories, due to our biology, smell in particular provokes a unique and comforting nostalgia that can only be experienced in this way.
MAKING & DESIGN
Here at Allumee we didn’t want to create just any scented candle. Our luxury collection has been methodically designed with your wellbeing in mind. We hand make every single candle with eco-friendly soy wax, combining the best of science and nature by using a unique blend of essential oil and fragrance oil. The wellbeing benefits of essential oils are vast, extracted directly from the plant, their use within aromatherapy is vital. With their strong and lasting scent throw, fragrance oils are a key addition to our recipe. We’ve spent time carefully mixing and testing the worlds most beautiful scents in order to create the finest blends. Existing in complete harmony, each candle within this collection has been created with synchronised combination of scents, each one enhancing the other. You’ll experience different notes from these candles at different times, making them the gift that keeps on giving, to yourself or a loved one!
WAX
With sustainability and eco-consciousness at the heart of what we do, we spent time researching and discovering how our very own collection of candles could truly fit within the core values of Allumee. Our first finding was that wax made from the material ‘paraffin’ is used to create a large percentage of candles on the market today. However, being a byproduct of petroleum and containing toxins that pollute the air each time a paraffin candle is lit, we soon realised that this was not the wax for us! After exploring a range of alternative waxes, our findings eventually led us to create this candle collection made from soy wax. As well as being natural, soy wax is also vegan and cruelty free, meaning it's an incredibly eco-friendly material. Soys natural components also mean that it's 100 percent biodegradable!

Please note that due to the beautiful handmade nature of these candles and ceramic containers, upon close inspection they may have some small imperfections however as soon as they're on display these won't be visible!
Health & Safety!
To prevent fire and serious injury, burn candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire. We recommend trimming your candles wick to around 5mm before lighting it.
