The width of the frame is determined by the number of globes you choose. With three and five globes the frame will be 30cm wide, with seven and nine globes the frame will be 45cm wide and for 11 globes the frame will be 55cm wide.
The frame lip is 5cm deep. The approximate chandelier weight is as follows; x3 globes 8-10kg, x5 globes 9-11kg, x7 globes 11-14kg, x9 globes 13-15kg and x11 globes 18-20kg.
The gorgeous glass globes are individually blown in the UK and are made are made to our exact specification. The colours you choose are swirled around the globes which themselves have a clear base. Because each globe is an individually blown piece, there is oodles of variety and interest, even when you choose the same colours.
Each chandelier frame and the brackets for the globes are made to order by our specialist metal worker. We have worked with our metal workers for over 15 years and they are neighbours of ours in South London.
When the frames and brackets have been made they are plated or powder coated in your chosen colour finish.
Each globe is illuminated with an E14 dimmable LED filament lightbulb. They are suspended in fabric cable in a colour to match your frame. The lightbulbs should last approximately 15,000 hours.
The chandelier can be easily dusted with a micro fibre cloth or similar. For a deep clean, each globe can be polished with a glass cleaner. The frame and brackets can be cleaned with a metal polish. The light bulbs are easy to change and equivalent LED lightbulbs to the ones we supply are readily available or can be ordered through us.
