Enamel Mug with Falmouth Sailing Boats
The Sailing 'Boat' design on this enamel mug is inspired by my childhood memories of sailing trips, watching sailing schools toppers in the distance, messing about on boats around Falmouth, Cornwall and watching the working Falmouth boats peaking around the headland.
The 'Weekend Explorer' collection is a selection of drawings from exciting weekend trips away. The designs represent the sights, real and fanciful, and the freedom of packing up and escaping for the weekend, which is something I still love to do.'Boat' is one of six designs in the 'Weekend Explorer' collection, the others are 'Tent', 'Lake', 'Ski', 'Surf' and 'Beach'. Hand illustrated by me in a simple colour block design makes them all minimal and evocative with a lid to keep your drink of choice bug free and warm!. As a rustic collection, all hand illustrated and made individually, these mugs sometimes have an occasional lump or bump which all just adds to their charm and uniqueness.
All the designs in this collection are available as a digital print, greetings card, coaster and placemat.

The set consists of six mugs: A lake with the reflection of a forest and mountain in the background, a Tent with Mountain views, a Ski-scape mug, Falmouth working boats sailing mug, a day out on the Beach mug and a campervan and surf mug.
