Handmade from sustainable materials,made to measure upholstered colour block footstool. Available in numerous colour palettes and bespoke sizes with a choice of feet.
Using geometric shapes based in constructivism this generously proportioned footstool is perfectly suited to modern and mid century homes. Available in made to measure sizes it is ideally suited to living rooms or bedrooms. With on trend linear patterns Marlow provides the perfect perch for for at least a couple of pairs of feet.
Indiviually handcrafted to bespoke requirements using only sustainable materials this large footstool is upholstered in Linwood Lana, a recycled Italian wool. Various feet options also avaialble.
Variations
As with all of my designs this footstool can be made to measure in a size of your choice with various colour combinations. Simply enter the dimensions if they are different from the bespoke size listed.
If you do not see a colour palette you like I can create a new one for you.

With the environment being as important to me as good design all of the elements in my furniture are sustainable. Furthermore, because of the bespoke nature of the product and the quality of manufacture I would like to think that that each piece is a lifetime investment.
No foam, plywood, MDF or polyester is used. This is a highly unusual in today’s furniture industry.
I use Linwood’s Lana upholstery fabric for the top cover, which is recycled Italian wool.
The wooden frames are made from FSC certified solid pine.
A natural material called rubberised hair instead of toxic polyurethane foam is used for the cushioned lid. Rubberised hair is made of coconut coir, curled animal hair and natural latex. It is free of solvents, CFC’s and cancer causing substances.
Instead of polyester I use white cotton felt, wool barrier cloth and calico as natural alternatives under the top layer of fabric.
The Italian wool upholstery can be brushed over with a clothes brush or lint lifter. Upholstery cleaners can also be used.
