Inspired by art deco archways and perfect for a luxurious bedroom, hallway or as a window seat. This large storage ottoman with comfortably cushioned lid adds a touch of seventies cool but the clean lines and minimal aesthetic makes it feel really modern.
This sustainably produced piece of storage furniture is artistically upholstered inside and out using a high quality recycled Italian wool.
It can sit perfectly at the end of a double bed and has over 160 liters of storage space therefore perfect for linen, toys or anything else that needs to be stylishly tucked away.
Variations
All of my furniture is handmade to order. So as with all of my designs, this ottoman can be made to measure in a size of your choice, usually at no extra charge. Simply enter the dimensions that you require if they are different from the bespoke size listed.
I am delighted to offer various colour combinations as well. I have created several colour palettes for you to browse through but If you do not see one that you like I can create a new one for you.
Furthermore various feet and legs can be sourced. I tend to discuss this at the ordering stage and will help my clients choose based on their existing interior and the colour palettes that they have chosen

With the environment being as important to me as good design all of the elements in my furniture are sustainable. Furthermore, because of the bespoke nature and the quality of manufacture I would like to think that that each piece is a lifetime investment.
No foam, plywood, mdf or polyester is used. This is a highly unusual in todays furniture industry.
I use Linwood’s Lana upholstery fabric for the top cover, which is recycled a Italian wool.
The wooden carcasses are made from FSC certified solid pine.
The lids are made as a frame using mortis and tenon joints for strength and then webbed (as you would a substantial chair) for comfort and to be as lightweight as possible.
A natural material called rubberised hair instead of toxic polyurethane foam is used for the cushioned lid. Rubberised hair is made of coconut coir, curled animal hair and natural latex. It is free of solvents, CFC’s and cancer causing substances.
Instead of polyester I use white cotton felt, wool barrier cloth and calico as natural alternatives under the top layer of fabric.
The Italian wool upholstery can be brushed over with a clothes brush or lint lifter. Upholstery cleaners cn also be used.
