Description

A handmade solid sterling silver personalised bangle with a heart charm.

This beautiful bangle is made out of sterling silver oval shaped wire with a personal message hand stamped onto it. Threaded onto the bangle is an individually handcrafted silver heart charm. This can also have a short personal message stamped onto it making this the perfect extra special gift or treat for yourself. If you would prefer to leave the heart or bangle plain then you can simply type 'blank' in the relevent personalisation section.

I have had many orders for this piece after making the one photographed for myself to celebrate my 40th birthday. I made them for all my friends too which had subsequently led to many more orders for their friends, and friends of friends!

Variations

The bangle can have a quote or special message stamped onto it (up to 50 characters including punctuation and spacing). The personalisation is stamped on the outer side of the bangle but if you prefer it can be stamped on the inside. This takes an extra couple of hours to refinish the bangle and so there is an additional charge of £25. There is an option box to select this.

The heart can be left plain or have a word or date stamped onto each of the two outer facing sides (up to 7 characters per side). I use the term 'inner' and 'outer' side to help differentiate between the two sides of the heart as you may want to choose which personalisation sits on the inside or outside of the bangle. The 'outer' side if the more prominent. I will punctuate any dates on the heart.

Please note that each piece of jewellery is entirely handmade. The letters are stamped by hand (not engraved) and any irregularities are part of the unique charm and character.

Each item of jewellery is sent in my customised gift boxes and can be gift wrapped for free in complimenting paper and a ribbon bow (I find this survives the post best).

A printed gift note is available on request when placing your order or a hand written gift card can also be added if you message me and it can all be posted direct to a lucky recipient.

Made from

Each piece is made from solid British 925 sterling silver which is prone to tarnishing so please try and keep your jewellery packaged away in its box when it's not being worn, ideally in acid free tissue paper.

Avoid contact with make up, perfumes, creams on the skin and water or chlorine as these may cause the silver to blacken.

To clean the necklace I would recommend buffing it with a silver cloth and occasionally dipping it in Goddard's silver dip (available at most supermarkets). Please don't prolong contact with the dip and thoroughly rinse your piece, ideally gently scrubbing with a soft tooth brush and some washing up liquid before completely drying it.

Water will also weaken the enamel so please avoid swimmimg or bathing in your necklace.

Dimensions

The bangle is made in 4.2mm x 2.2mm oval silver wire and can be ordered in three different sizes: 6cm inner diameter, 6.5cm inner diameter and 7cm inner diameter. You can tick which size you require when ordering. It is often useful to measure the diameter of an existing bangle that fits to confirm the size.

The heart is approximately 2cm across by 2cm down depending on the personalisation.

The letters are 2mm in size and are a 'typewriter' style font and are a mix of upper and lower case.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery info

I regularly update my delivery dates listed on the home page of each product and try and keep delivery times to a minimum but please bare in mind that I make each piece by hand from scratch and so usually require at least a week to make and dispatch a product. More at busier times such as Christmas, Valentines and Mother's Day.

My work bench time is also usually booked up a week or more in advance with orders and so I don't offer next day delivery. If you do need a piece making for a specific date please contact me ideally before ordering and I will always try my best to accommodate your request.

Each item is posted by First Class Delivery but please be aware that we are at the mercy of the Royal Mail and occassionally items may take a day or two longer.

I do offer premium delivery at extra cost where a signature is required on reciept and the item comes the next day but please be aware that this service is for secure postage rather than 'next day' service as I can't make handmade items and post within a day.

Returns

You have 28 days, from receipt of cancellable goods, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements, perishable products and personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken are non-refundable, unless faulty.
