This stunning angel with gold lustre decoration would make a wonderful addition to any home. Some buy these for personal reasons, others because they are unique and beautiful. They make a wonderful gift for a special person and work particularly well hung over fireplaces, doorways or mirrors but would brighten up any spot.
Each angel is handmade and hand decorated by artist Sarah Rickard from her garden studio in East Sussex. Moved to create some angels by a childhood experience Sarah looked to William Morris's angels for inspiration.
Variations
These angels come in a range of sumptuous colours. The colour options are victorian green, ivory, silver grey, raspberry pink, cobalt blue and teal. You also have the choice of which direction you want your angel to fly in!

Made from
Each angel is handmade in white earthenware and hand decorated with slips and oxides. The pieces are then fired and glazed after which transfers from the artist's original drawings are applied. Finally a lick of gold lustre is applied ( which contains 10% gold ) and is fired on. The result is a beautiful shiny gold which makes the piece very precious.
Each angel comes wrapped in teal tissue paper and is presented in a black box. A gift card can be added as an optional extra.
