Our thick rectangular natural slate markers hang on a sturdy aluminium stake with a neat curved top to keep the slate tag safe. The stake can be securely inserted into the earth. The 'extra rustic' discounted option uses slate tags that will not be so neatly shaped, surfaces edges will be rougher and more varied, particularly the back, and the slates may well hang at a slight angle. We almost prefer these as they have more character, and the engraving will still be strong and clear.
