Each set includes five tubes of 20 easy to use seed balls of a different type of herb: Basil, Mint, Chive, Parsley, and Wild Rocket Salad. A unique gardening gift for anyone who would like to grow their own fresh herbs, but without a need for any gardening expertise! Simply scatter the balls on top of soil in a pot or garden bed and water well. For both outdoor and indoor use (if indoors they are best on a sunny windowsill).
Each ball is made from clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder which will naturally deter birds and insects from eating the seeds while giving them everything they need to successfully grow.

Herbs Included:
Basil (Ocimum basilicum) – Aromatic, bright green leaves and small tubular flowers, basil is a culinary favourite used in Mediterranean dishes and is especially good paired with tomato.
Mint (Mentha spp.) – With a fresh, cool flavor and distinctive fragrance, mint leaves are vibrant green with serrated edges. It’s a versatile plant used in teas, culinary dishes, and medicines. It thrives in moist, shaded areas and offers antibacterial properties.
Chives (Allium schoenoprasum) – The grass-like leaves of chives have a mild onion flavour and can be chopped and added to a variety of dishes, the star-shaped flowers look pretty in salads. Super easy to grow and pollinators love their blooms.
Parsley (Petroselinum crispum) – A hardy, biennial herb with bright green ruffled leaves, parsley is packed with vitamins and antioxidants and can be added as a garnish to most savoury dishes
Wild Rocket Salad (Diplotaxis tenuifolia) – Wild rocket leaves have a distinctive peppery flavour. the small yellow flowers are also edible and attract pollinators. Mixed with a tasty selection of salad leaves including mustard, mizuna, kale and greek cress. Yum!
