A set of six colourful ‘Happy Christmas’ mini tins – cute and festive wildflower gifts for loved ones, friends, family and teachers. Each tin contains 5 seed balls, each with approximately 30 wildlife-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Common Toadflax, Cornflower, Cowslip, Meadow Cranesbill, Musk Mallow, Oxeye Daisy and Red campion, plus a sprinkling of pollinator-friendly annuals Chamomile, Cornflower, Corn Marigold, and Night-Flowering Catchfly. No green thumbs required! Just scatter the seed balls on soil or compost and let nature take over. Regular watering will help them grow faster. For window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens.

Wildflower seeds, clay, peat free compost and chilli powder. We make the balls ourselves from a mixture of UK wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The outer clay protects the seeds from ants, birds and mice, and once sufficient water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside begin to germinate - helped along by the nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder continues to deter slugs and snails while the seed ball slowly degrades and the seeds sprout. Wildflowers are naturally slow to grow and the balls can take 2-6 weeks to begin to sprout. Some will flower in the first year and others may not flower until the second year, but the display should keep getting better each year! The more they are initially watered, the quicker they will be to start to grow, although they will be ok to leave them to the rain to water them as well :)
