Growing vegetables and salads in raised beds has numerous benefits: the raised beds can be filled with the soil of your choice - ideal if you live in acidic soil areas, and the soil will warm up faster than the soil in the ground, helping to promote germination.
Our raised bed is painted in a pleasant green colour, and is made from steel which is strong as well as lightweight. Measuring a generous 100cm by 30cm deep, it is easy to put together with just nuts and bolts (you will need a screwdriver and a pair of pliers). If 30 cm is too high, the bed can be easily dug into the ground to reduce the height
A plastic liner is included - this raised bed liner is the perfect solution for positioning the bed on a patio or other hard surface. Measuring 97cm wide and 25cm high, it is made from reinforced PE which is heavy duty and rip proof.
