These beautiful earrings have been our most popular design since 1990 !
The arum lilies are three dimensional with a graceful tendril at the bottom of the earring. This curves inwards echoaing the curve of the jawline. The earrings are cast in solid sterling silver and then Simon adds a complete layer of 18 ct gold. He then carefully takes this off the inside of the flower with a needle burr. This creates a contrast with the rest of the design. Furthermore it gives the inside an opalescence which draws the light and is particularly effective.
This design is influenced by William Morris who used natural themes from Nature as jewellery.
This design is available in solid silver and 9 ct and 18 ct yellow , rose and white gold , fully hallmarked. There is a matching pendant with a lovely humming bird drinking from the inside of the flower. It can be seen on this site .
These earrings are on a hookwire , however a ball stud and ring can beused to shorten the drop and the earrings will sit on the earlobe and dangle below.
