This handcrafted unique shaped cocktail ring (925 Silver with 24ct gold plate) from the Blue Lotus series is inspired by traditional Indian jewellery. The shape is influenced by one of the intricate repetitive patterns seen in historic Jali architecture. Like the Taj Mahal; constructed by a Mughal emperor for his beloved wife, this ring was crafted with great love and care. The piece takes on the form of a lotus flower, symbolising beauty.
The 24ct gold plated finish replicates the Indian gold body ornaments adorned by the wealthy and is considered to be the symbol of perfection.
The ring is set with a 0.01ct diamond in the centre. The colourless diamond set flush in the centre of the flower, is one of the Navaratna gems traditionally used. The diamond symbolises one of the nine planets, Venus, the planet of purity.
