Three Heart Map artwork. A personalised map location artwork representing three locations of special significance to you and your other half.
You could pick where you met, the place you got engaged and where you got married or will be getting married. A lovely wedding gift or perfect as an anniversary present.
I hand stitch, with red embroidery thread, the lines going from heart to heart. Representing your journey as a couple or as a family. Little arrows mark the way. The past, the present and the future
Each of the hearts is hand cut from vintage maps and the artwork is created over a number of days, being left to dry and set between each stage.
The last step is wrapping it carefully in white tissue paper and tying with red and white bakers twine. The finishing touch is a miniature gift tag and heart.
Each print comes with a note from the maker (that's me) telling you more about how your map artwork was made.
As I use vintage maps I cannot work to postcodes, so a town or city is best for your locations.
If you want any of the stitching lines to be different just get in touch and we can work to your requirements. For example on the print shown we start at the central heart map, then move to the bottom one, then back to the centre, up to the top heart and then a line of stitching off to the right...
The unframed print will fit perfectly into a RIBBA IKEA 30 x 40 frame as shown in the image. If you are going to mount it in an Ikea frame then you don't need to buy a mounted version.
