The glazes are the result of much experimentation to create dramatic landscape scenes. You will receive a pot from this series. As they are handmade and hand painted no one is the same, each one is unique in its own way, and much is down to the magic of the firing. The pots are formed by wedging the clay to remove air, rolling the clay with a rolling pin, cutting and forming slabs of clay that are then formed into shape. These pots are always slightly wonky as the process is purely by hand and not in a machine or factory. These are imperfectly perfect, and not for someone who is looking for precision. They connect you to the maker and the process and will be a perfect unique gift or treat to yourself. This pot is made to order, from wedging and rolling the clay, building, trimming, a week drying, bisque firing, sanding, glazing and glaze firing and 22 carat gold lustre firing - the ceramic process takes 3 weeks approx. The pot will be lovingly wrapped and send on its way by Royal Mail.
Your pot will be gift wrapped in white paper, eco brown protective wrapping and tied up with string.
9cm red matches look really effective with the design and are not included with the pot.
