Life’s better with BUNTING

I have such fond memories of my dressing up box which consisted of mother’s discarded high heels, tangled strings of beads, old ball gowns, silk scarves and other jumble sale treasures, which I wish I still had! My sisters and I spent many happy hours dressed as characters from another world, far away from the little Hampshire village where we lived.

Years later, my daughters needed very little encouragement to follow my passion for creating costumes from the dressing up box. All that was needed was a length of fabric, a few safety pins and some imagination and they would be off into their own magical world.

Inspired by my own childhood, my children and now, my grandchild - I have created a colourful, quirky and eclectic range of play accessories for children, handmade heritage items designed to last, carefully sewn by me from quality, interesting fabrics – easy to wear for good old fashioned fun.
